Who Should Attend
Individuals working in or seeking positions in residential and commercial light construction and project management, real estate development, finance and acquisition, and the legal aspects of the industry will benefit from course work in this program.
Program Benefits
- Advance your knowledge and skills in project planning, research, scheduling, analysis and management of light construction projects.
- Gain hands-on experience in the preparation of commercial, industrial and residential loan packages.
- Obtain a detailed understanding of residential real estate financing techniques and financial instruments as well as governmental entitlement.
- Learn how to develop, implement and evaluate marketing, sales and customer relationship management strategies.
- Examine how computer technology and related tools can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of many building industry company functions.
- Participate in a program that integrates “green” and sustainability factors within the broader curriculum.
Certificate Requirements
A certificate is awarded upon completion of seven required courses and two electives each with a grade of "C" or better. This program entails 235 hours of instruction. Please see the Application for Candidacy.
After you have completed all requirements, you may request to receive your official certificate by completing the Request for Certificate Form and returning it to our offices as noted on the form. All requirements must be completed within five (5) years after the student enrolls in his/her first course. |
