Requirements
In order to be eligible and receive credit for the program, you must:
- Have 3 years experience in the investment, banking, insurance,
or financial planning business OR 3 years experience as a CPA, Attorney
At Law, CLU, or ChFC.
- Satisfy all classroom requirements including pre-studying
the material prior to each class, attending every class session, and
completing all assignments.
- Pass the final exam with a grade of "C" or better.
- Series
7 license is highly recommended.
English Proficiency Requirement
All certificate programs at UC Irvine Extension (classroom and online formats) require professional-level English language proficiency in listening and note-taking, reading comprehension and vocabulary, written expression, and oral presentation. Fees
PFP Accelerated Program
$4,200 (Spring 2008)
Program fee does not include Study Guides. Study Guides are $150 plus shipping & handling for each module. Instructions will be noted on your enrollment confirmation.
Review Course for the CFP® Certification Examination
$1,250 (Fall 2008)
if you have already taken the PFP Accelerated
Program then the fee is only $1,100. You must enroll by phone at (949) 824-5414 to receive discount.
