Recognizing the expanding career opportunities that exist for current and prospective online instructors and trainers, this program provides unique training to effectively position yourself as the online instructor with value-added skills, and provides the business skills to manage this career.

English Proficiency Requirement
All certificate programs at UC Irvine Extension (classroom and online formats) require professional-level English language proficiency in listening and note-taking, reading comprehension and vocabulary, written expression, and oral presentation. Certificate Requirements
A certificate is awarded upon completion of a minimum of 10 units of core courses and 5 additional units of core and/or elective courses each with a grade “C” or better. This program of study entails 150 hours of instruction. Non-certificate candidate students may take individual courses with a "no grade" option. A certificate is awarded after you submit your Application
for Candidacy and Request for Certificate Form.
